Startale, Soneium & wallet disclosures

Effective 15 May 2026

Updated 15 May 2026

Summary

LasMeta's current web client runs on the Soneium network (chain id 1868, native gas asset ETH). You may connect with externally owned accounts (EOAs) through RainbowKit-compatible wallets, or with smart-account flows exposed by Startale and the Farcaster mini app surface. This page explains what each party sees on-chain and in logs.

1. Soneium (L2)

Soneium is an Ethereum layer-2. Public RPC endpoint we document in the app configuration: rpc.soneium.org. Block explorer: soneium.blockscout.com. Transactions you approve are broadcast to that network; finality and fees follow Soneium consensus rules.

2. EOAs vs account abstraction (AA)

EOA wallets (e.g. MetaMask, Rainbow, Coinbase Wallet) sign each transaction with a private key you control. Smart accounts (account-abstraction style contracts) use contract code for validation; session keys, paymasters, or bundlers may appear in user-operation flows. You remain responsible for reviewing what each signature authorises.

3. Startale & Farcaster mini app

When you open LasMeta inside a Farcaster mini app or through Startale-enabled providers, embedded wallets or relay services may prepare, sponsor, or batch transactions on your behalf according to that provider's terms. LasMeta does not custody your private keys. If a relay rejects a call (for example gas sponsorship limits), you may need to retry with a standard wallet connection.

4. WalletConnect and third parties

We load WalletConnect, wallet vendor SDKs, and chain metadata from their networks. Those vendors may collect telemetry under their own policies. See also the cookie policy and privacy policy.

5. On-chain transparency

Contract interactions (buy-in, cash-out, approvals) produce immutable records. Wallet addresses and calldata may be visible to anyone with explorer access. Personal data off-chain is handled separately and described in the privacy policy.

6. Security expectations

Never share seed phrases or screenshots of signing screens in chat. LasMeta staff will never DM you for secrets. Report phishing to [email protected].
